1. In your TCAdmin2 Control Panel, locate File Manager (or use FTP) to open the left4dead/cfg folder.

  2. Find and edit your server.cfg file.

  3. Modify the line hostname "My L4D Server Name" to your desired server name.

  4. You can also set other basic settings here, such as the server’s region with sv_region, or add a server message of the day using motd.txt.

After saving your changes, restart your Left 4 Dead server from the control panel to apply them.
